4 tbsp of vegetable oil
3/4 cup of popcorn kernels
6-7 tbsp of salted butter
3 tbsp of crushed Flamin Hot Cheetos (crush in a plastic bag by hand or with a food processor)
2 cups of Flamin Hot Cheetoes
- Measure 3/4 cup popcorn kernels. Heat 4 tablespoons vegetable oil in a large pot with a tight-fitting lid. Add 2 to 3 of the popcorn kernels to the hot oil. When they begin to pop, add the remaining popcorn kernels. Cover and shake the pot back and forth while the popcorn pops to prevent burning. Popcorn is done when the popping slows down to about 7 seconds between pops. Once done remove from heat and take lid off.
- In a separate small pot melt 6-7 tablespoons of salted butter. Once butter has melted add three tablespoons of crushed Flaming Hot Cheetos and stir. Pour butter mixture over the popcorn and toss. Add two cups of Hot Flaming Cheetos to popcorn and toss again. Enjoy.
