I have always had a love for food and time spent enjoying great meals with family and friends. I believe cooking should be simple, delicious and easy. The Sisterhood was created to combine my three passions: food, travel and sharing with people.

This is Us
I have spent over half of my life married to my soulmate and best friend, Joe. Together we are parents to three amazing young adults (Jessica Lynn, Chris and JJ), grandparents to two and one half beautiful grand children (Nick, Audriannah “Dri” and Chris Junior “CJ”) and paw parents to three four legged fur babies (Zoe, Mia Bella and Leo).
Joe and I met while both of us were in the Tejano music industry, Joe a musician and I a deejay for a Houston radio station. After spending years behind the mic working in radio and television in Houston, I took a different professional turn into public education. This change allowed me the opportunity to work while always having time to spend raising my children. My broadcast background made the venture into v-blogging a natural step for me. Now in my Second Act of life I am following my dream to return to broadcast in a new and exciting format.
